We added a fun new feature to our web page which will display a random quote from some prominent and influential figure in music or education. Quotes will almost always feature a link where you can get more information about the person. So it’s both fun, and possibly a learning experience! Enjoy!!

We just added a new Resources page to the web site. It features student aids, fingering charts, how-to guides, blank staff paper, and more! We will continue to add to this page, so be sure to check back often!

If you’re looking for something that you don’t see here, then let us know and we’ll see if we can track down an appropriate resource for you!

The Evidence Jazz Trio, featuring our very own Kevin Rose, is having a special CD release party with a free concert here at The Oak Run Recital Hall on Saturday, April 25th from 7pm-9pm. Admission is free.

Please come on out for our Faculty Recital on Saturday, May 9th at 2:30pm. This free recital will feature performances by our very own Kevin Rose, Said Tinat, Gina Parks, Scott D. Farquhar, and Dr. Jon Cresci. Program includes works by Bach, Granados, Brahms, Joplin, Barrios, Ketting, Farquhar, and more.

Welcome to our new and improved web page!

We’re very excited to see how the new web page develops, and we’re attempting to give you more reasons to check back in often. You can subscribe to the various RSS feeds and can keep up-to-date on special offers and news from the Director. If you aren’t familiar with RSS feeds, feel free to experiment. Any time you see the little orange icon (like the one at the top of the page next to “Posts”) you can click on it to subscribe to the feed. The one at the top of the page will subscribe you to all posts from the web page. You can also subscribe to specific feeds of your choice (Special Offers, Director’s News, Recital Hall Events, etc.). If you choose “Live Bookmark” then you will have a special selection in your Bookmarks or Favorites drop-down menu with a sub menu of our posts.

For now we are going to continue to send out our “Quarter Notes” e-Newsletter every three months, however RSS feeds are a great way to get news and offers as they happen.
