We’ve scheduled the next session of our Introduction to Music Theory group class.

This class will be on Monday evenings from 7:15pm to 8:15pm and run from March 1st to May 10th.

We’re very pleased to be offering a new group class for Beginning Guitar students! Sven Rainey will be teaching this class on Tuesday evenings from 7:30pm to 8:30pm this March and April of 2010.

We’ve been so busy, we forgot to mention…! Last month, the first session of our Introduction to Music Theory group class concluded. Our students got to share their finished musical compositions with each other and received their certificates. Check out the photo on our Facebook page! (While you’re there, please become a fan!)

We are looking forward to offering another session of this class in the Spring, as well as a special 8 week Songwriting Class. Visit our Classes page for information and to register for the next class.

We are pleased to announce a new addition to our faculty!

Sven Rainey joins us from Nevada where he earned a Master of Music in classical guitar performance from The University of Nevada in Las Vegas. He brings 10 years of teaching experience with him in numerous guitar styles.

The first session of the Music Theory Class being taught by Scott D. Farquhar has now been scheduled! This class will run on Mondays at 7:15pm starting August 3rd and running through to November 9th (There will be one week off with no class on August 24th). Classes will be approximately 45-60 minutes.

This class is only $150 for current and active students and $200 for other attendees. This includes the textbook Practical Theory Complete, by Sandy Feldstein.
