Saturday afternoon Performance Workshops are for younger students age 5 - 12.

Our Performance Workshop program allows students to have an opportunity to play in a very open, informal, and accepting environment. Students should bring pieces they are working on to share with fellow students. Our goal for performance workshops is to have every participant play one solo piece, and one duet or ensemble piece.

Students are highly encouraged to participate in this regular monthly program as often as possible. Having a goal and opportunity for performance is essential for stimulating motivation for lesson progress and allowing students a chance to have fun!

These workshops are completely free for our current and active students. (Outside students may attend and participate in the workshops for a $5 fee)

Kraushaar Auditorium

Seating 995 in a continental pattern that affords an excellent view of the stage from any seat in the house, Kraushaar Auditorium is perfect for medium- to large-scale concerts, dance performances, and theater productions. Used in recent years for Baltimore Symphony Orchestra concerts, Goucher's Rosenberg Lecture and Performance series, the annual Comedy Care benefit for the homeless, and many other events, Kraushaar is also great for large corporate meetings and rallies.

Maryland Academy of Music faculty member Virginia Morgan sings with The Baltimore Choral Arts Society.

Tom Hall leads the full Chorus in Rachmaninoff’s powerful "All Night Vigil," complemented by dramatic readings from plays and poetry by resident actors from Everyman Theatre. Composed during one of the most inspired periods of Rachmaninoff’s life, "All Night Vigil" showcases some of his most lush and beautiful melodies and harmonies.

A Choral Conversation with Tom Hall and the actors precedes the performance at 7:15 pm.

This concert is sponsored by T. Rowe Price.
The "Choral Conversation" is sponsored by Bank of America.

The concert will be performed in Kraushaar Auditorium at Goucher College, 1021 Dulaney Valley Road in Towson. Parking is free.
