Teaching Opportunities

Guitar Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
We are currently looking for an additional guitar instructor. Prospective instructor must be willing to build a teaching studio on at least 2 of the following days: Mondays, Thursdays, and Saturdays! Experience teaching other instruments, especially bass, is preferred. Instructor will provide lessons for all ages (about 5-7 and up) and levels; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required.

Violin/Viola Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
The Maryland Academy of Music is currently seeking an additional violin instructor to provide lessons for all ages (5-7 and up) and levels; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required; Flexible and consistent availability on Weekday evenings desired; Experience teaching viola and cello also desired.

Cello Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
The Maryland Academy of Music is currently seeking an additional cello instructor to provide lessons for all ages (about age 7 and up) and levels; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required; Flexible and consistent availability on Weekday evenings desired; Experience teaching violin, viola, and upright bass also desired.

Woodwind Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
The Maryland Academy of Music is currently seeking an additional woodwind instructor to provide lessons for all ages (about age 8 and up) and levels; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required; Flexible and consistent availability on Weekday evenings and Saturday mornings a must; Experience teaching flute, clarinet, and sax greatly desired.

Piano Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
Although we don’t currently have any needs for additional piano instructors, we always accept applications to keep on file for possible future needs. Availability on weekday evenings and Saturdays is usually desired. Instructor will provide lessons for all ages (5-7 and up) and levels; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required.

Voice Instructor, Part-Time (Sub-Contractor)
We are currently looking for an additional voice instructor. Flexible and consistent availability on weekday evenings and Saturdays a must. Instructor will provide private vocal instruction for young adults approximately age 12 and older; Bachelor’s in Music or concurrent study and previous teaching experience required.
