Open Letter Regarding Snow
Dear Students and Parents,
I want to let all of you know that The Maryland Academy of Music and our teachers are going to try hard to get lesson schedules back to normal as we emerge from the mounds of melting snow. Consistency with lessons is a vital key for progress, and we will try to recapture the sense of routine as soon as possible. The instructors and I will do our best this week to work with students to reschedule and make up for any lost lessons. Each situation will be different, but the main concern we will focus on (as always) is what makes the most sense for the long term progress of the student.
We are also (optimistically) hoping that this extra in-house time may have translated into additional practice time! So, perhaps, we will notice some additional progress despite any lost lessons.
I look forward to seeing bright, smiling faces on all the students finally getting out of the house and coming in to make music!
